FORM SIX PRE NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS with Marking Schemes










Subject-Specific Details:

  • Advanced Mathematics: There are two papers, Advanced Mathematics 1 and 2. Paper 1 consists of 10 questions, all of which are to be answered. Paper 2 consists of two sections, A and B. All questions in Section A must be answered, and students must choose two questions from Section B.  

  • Biology: The Biology 2 exam consists of 6 questions, of which students are required to answer 5.  

  • Basic Applied Mathematics: This exam consists of 10 questions, all of which must be answered.  

  • Chemistry: There are three Chemistry exams: Chemistry 1, 2, and 3A (Practical). Chemistry 1 has two sections; students answer all questions in Section A and two questions from Section B. Chemistry 2 consists of six questions, of which students must answer five. Chemistry 3A is a practical exam consisting of 3 questions.  

  • General Studies: This exam consists of seven questions, and students must answer five. Question 1 is compulsory.  

  • Physics: There are two Physics exams: Physics 1 and 2. Physics 1 has two sections, A and B. Students answer all questions from Section A and two questions from Section B. Physics 2 consists of six questions, and students must answer five.
